Congratulations!, to Auckland, Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay, Hutt Valley, Southern, Tairawhiti and Whanganui DHBs. Those seven sites have been selected as the inaugural DHBs to implement "The Productive Operating Theatre Programme" in New Zealand. There are some exciting and challenging times ahead for those DHBs and it will commence with training directly from the NHS TPOT training team in Wellington on the 24 August 2010.

We will ensure that all concerned post regular updates and tell the story of their journey on this programme.

We are finalising a DHB clinical expert group, to help lead and support the programme nationally and that group will recive additional training, in order to become future programme trainers, for any other DHBs interested in implementing the programme in 2011.
