NHS Improvement has been working with clinical teams across health and social care in the UK to find examples of equality of treatment and outcome regardless of the day of the week.
Their case study pages demonstrate where extended working days or weeks have been successfully implemented to ensure that patients are able to readily access both acute, elective and reablement services across primary and secondary care.
