Description
Electronic Patient File Transfer (or NZ-GP2GP) provides the basis on which patient records can be transferred between general practice practice management systems as structured data. The project entered its pilot phase, deploying GP2GP to roughly 65 sites around the country on 1 July 2011 and is now in general release.
GP2GP provides the capability to all general practices to electronically transfer their patients’ electronic medical records safely, securely and in a way that retains content and meaning when received by another practice.
