posted by WM Admin on 22 May 2015
In their April 2015 Best Practice magazine, bpac have produced an overview of the management of patients with possible acute coronary syndromes in New Zealand.
- Checklist: patient presenting with acute chest pain in primary care
- Investigate all patients with suspected cardiac chest pain
- Treatment for all patients with acute coronary syndromes
- If the patient cannot be transported to hospital immediately
bpac (NZ) is an independent organisation that promotes health care interventions which meet patients’ needs and are evidence based, cost effective and suitable for the New Zealand context.
They develop and distribute evidence-based resources which describe, facilitate and help overcome the barriers to best practice.
