Diabetes and cardiovascular disease (CVD) affect a growing number of New Zealanders each year, and particularly their quality of life and life expectancy.
The More Heart and Diabetes Checks health target states that 90 percent of the eligible population will have had their cardiovascular risk assessed in the last five years.
