Weight Management

The Weight Management website provides information for the sector on best practices to addressing obesity and weight management issues in New Zealand. Maintaining a healthy body weight requires an environment and society where individuals, families and whanau, and communities are supported to eat well and live physically active lives.

Public Health

The Public Health Knowledge Management Group is a joint initiative of the Population and Public Health services of South Island District Health Boards (DHBs), with support from the Programme Office of the South Island DHB Alliance. Their objectives are to coordinate and make effective use of available public health expertise and to collaborate on provision of research, analysis and advice on public health issues of common interest. This site is a platform to publish and share online population and public health documents such as research projects, position and policy statements, submissions, and public health protocols.
